Zephyr Project Meetup (October 12, 2026) – Munich, Germany
The Zephyr Project’s next community meetup is in Munich on Monday, 12 October: an evening of short technical talks and networking at The Westin Grand Munich, hosted by Microchip. Registration is required and seats are limited.
The agenda covers a lot of ground for one evening: devicetree concepts, frequency and voltage scaling on the STM32N6, building trusted systems with Microchip’s ATECC608 secure element, industrial control on the SmartFusion2 SoC-FPGA, where Zephyr fits in space computer architecture, extreme macro photography, and the expectations and responsibilities that come with using Zephyr.
My colleague David Nepožitek from Spotflow speaks at 8:10 pm. His talk, “Don’t Fly Blind: Monitoring Zephyr Devices in Production”, is about what happens after the firmware ships: the questions you face once devices are in the field, how far Zephyr’s built-in logging and core dumps take you and what to add when they are not enough, and which data is worth collecting on constrained devices.
Microchip provides the food and drinks, and Microchip and Nordic Semiconductor are giving away development boards.
