About

Developer advocate, embedded & IoT

Focused on firmware observability and self-healing firmware

I'm a developer advocate focused on embedded and IoT. My work combines developer relations (improving developer experience, documentation, and community) and building the product itself, helping hardware and firmware teams get full visibility into their device fleets.

My work also overlaps with marketing. I collaborate closely with marketing teams on content, launches, and events, making sure what reaches engineers is accurate and worth their time.

I come from a software engineering background: backend development and cloud-native architecture, with several years spent building data-processing systems and a cloud IIoT platform for industrial and agricultural robotics. Throughout, I've worked alongside firmware and hardware teams on the software, cloud, and data side of embedded products. My academic background is in data science and machine learning, with a master's degree.

Now

Right now I'm focused on firmware observability and self-healing firmware: devices that tell you what went wrong, and recover on their own when they can. Alongside that I work on developer experience, and spend my time writing, building demos, and strengthening the bridge between firmware teams and the tools and data that support them.
